Dreams and Visions

As a visual artist, I collect images. I’ve got my own personal movie going on all the time. I lay colors down telling them what I want them to be. They begin speaking to me and my stories develop.
It’s like lucid dreaming. I’m processing everything that’s happening to me, and answering questions about the world and my place in it. Then, everything comes together to form visual images in my mind.
In my paintings, I attempt to organize all these elements in an interesting way on a canvas, paper, or printing plate. I feed my work, and my work feeds me. I hope to continue this dialogue for a very long time.
